I was very happy to see one of my favorite cooking personalities gave a TED Talk this year. I've been admiring the social work of Spaniard chef José Andrés when I had the opportunity to subtitle one of his earliest TEDxTalks to English and Spanish. His recent work, as he describes it in this TED Talk after Hurricane María hit the island of Puerto Rico causing massive destruction, shows that you can always make a difference if your heart is in the right place and you have the willingness to help, no how many resources you might or might not have. Me alegró mucho cuando vi que uno de mis personajes favoritos del mundo culinario dio una charla TED este año. Comencé a sentir una gran admiración por el trabajo social del chef español José Andrés cuando tuve la oportunidad de subtitular una de sus primeras charlas TEDx al inglés y al español.
